During the first half of the lesson I have created the first full draft of the music video. The main problem I've faced this year with editing is trying to keep the video and the music in sync, this is a problem that didn't occur last year.
Emily and Rosie have spent the lesson taking pictures so we can produce a good quality Digipak, this meant I had all lesson to produce a Rough cut.
In the rough cut I didn't use many effects on the video unlike last year when we played around with the different effects in the editing stage. This year I felt more comfortable because I knew the effects and knew I would only need one towards the end of the video and I feel like I picked the right effect to make the sequence look like a dream.
When editing the music video for a rough cut it didn't take as long as when we did our opening sequence for a film, I think this was because I was a lot more use to Final cut pro therefore I knew which tools I would use and how to use them.
Over all I think the rough cut is of good quality and gives us a good basic film to add and change if necessary.
We have uploaded this rough cut version onto you tube, in order to gather feedback from audiences, resulting in us being able to improve on issues and problems that we may not have noticed ourselves.
Noticeable problems we have already spotted
