In the music industry, a record label is a brand and a trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos.
They normally have a major company, followed by a minor company along side it.
The labels don't have to include text, they can just be images, or a graphic logo.
For example:
Apple Company : The Beatles
They use an image of a apple, this is simple but you get the point & know the name of the label.
